College..Did it really brought the change?

"Without College..No knowledge"
That is quite a common notion, which i guess has been proved by time. You might be suprised why i suddenly out of blues i am discussing a like which is so well evident. Apparently right now I am passing through the phase of life where on seeing every single thing related to college i get nostalgic. Sometimes while the process of self scrutinization starts what is gained and what is lost from the last four years endevour do come in picture.
Recently I had been in a similar situation. That was probably the last day of working college ( after that exams were going to start). Being the last day, there was ample amount of load of assignments, class tests and viva's in the small shoulders of my hands. While my hands trying to be an efficient Engineer's hand trying to manage the big book, needed for viva, the assignment files and the class notes I somehow along with my umbrella managed to climb down from the clumpsy Autoricksaw. And what i saw in gate suprised me! I saw a big fat girl trying hard to get herself adjusted in the short shirt and trying to beat the summer heat equally since her accessories were too gordy to make her comfortable. Well she was no other than one of my very good friends in first year. And man!! She has changed so much from the girl who was too shy to try out dresses below the ankle and here she is looking a real " hotty", whereas me...well i am still the same girl with little changes in the wardrope and still always in too much hurry to take care of the "feminine stuffs". Why the four years of time brought little or no change in me....Why i still get confused betwee pedicare and medicare hahahaha! :D As my little walk from the insti main gate to the department ended, a junior suddenly called up ' Chayanika madam can you please meet with me tonight, I think i need to discuss about the topic of next year's KVPY with you". And then i realized where i had been busy all these four years, giving no time for thinking about the ladies stuffs and happy i was again as a small kid as if i had won a war and not just a single battle!

Ms Chayanika,

You have changed a lot in last 4 yrs. esp in the last 2 yrs (maybe because you were missing yours truly :D).

But on a serious note, wardrobe change is hardly that sustains overtime. The most important change that is required is much more subtle and that is the change we work, we deal with people & issues.

Btw, a new post is long over due. Why not tag yourself on lines of this -- http://shallowthoughts00.blogspot.com/2007/07/yet-another-8.html.

Just a suggestion!
